A carved ceramic tile of hanging branches and leaves. The ceramic stoneware was handformed using a slab roller. It was then painted in colored clay, black, green and plum purple, then carved to remove the negative space around the leaves and branches. The tile was then fired with a clear glaze over the entire surface. The dimensions are 10” wide x 11” tall and 1/4 “ deep. Multiuse food safe item. Can be framed and used as wall art, displayed in a plate stand, as a tablesetting for a charcuterie board or cheese plate. Lends itself to multiple creative uses in the home.
